Classic Jenga Star of David Variation

The initial set up for the tower

This Classic Jenga variation takes the standard three-by-three base, but each level is rotated 45 degrees from the previous level. The result is a fun pattern that looks like the Star of David.

From there, proceed as usual, pulling pieces and adding them to the top, following the pattern.

Pulling a piece from the tower early

I was surprised to find that this Jenga variation was much less stable than a regular tower. It also lost its pretty shape right away and began to look chaotic.

This is as far as I got.

The tower late in the game

Then I tried building the Star of David pattern with Classic 5 Jenga.

The setup for a Classic 5 Star of David tower

As expected, this variation made it even more difficult, and it looked even more chaotic. This was as far as I got:

Can you beat these versions of Jenga?
